Who we are
ATE·IQ is operated by D.W. Semiconductor Test Ltd, a private company limited by shares, registered in Dublin, Ireland. Trading correspondence and data-protection enquiries go to [email protected].
What this covers
Two surfaces: the public marketing site at www.ateiq.io, and the ATE·IQ desktop product when used under a paid pilot. The marketing site is what this page mostly describes. The desktop product's data flow is documented separately on the security page — in short, it runs on your bench and your data does not leave it.
What we collect
- Contact form submissions — name, work email, company, optional tester family, and your message. Submitted by you on /contact.
- Email correspondence — whatever you write to us at [email protected].
- Cloudflare edge logs — IP, request path, user agent, response status. Cloudflare retains these per their own retention schedule for DDoS, abuse detection, and bot mitigation. We don't store request-level logs ourselves.
We do not run analytics, marketing pixels, or third-party tracking scripts on the marketing site. No cookie banners because we don't set marketing cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly-necessary edge cookie (e.g. __cf_bm) for bot management; this is exempt from consent under PECR.
Why we collect it
- Respond to your enquiry. Sales follow-up, scoping calls, pilot quotes.
- Run the service. Cloudflare logs underpin uptime and abuse handling.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with marketing networks. There is no email list, no drip campaign, no retargeting.
Where it goes
- Contact-form submissions are sent via Resend (transactional email provider, US) to a single inbox at
[email protected]hosted on Google Workspace (US, with EU data-residency option enabled). - The marketing site is served from Cloudflare Pages on Cloudflare's global edge.
- The desktop product runs entirely on your engineer's machine. We do not receive any data from it.
All three providers offer GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreements; copies available on request.
How long we keep it
- Contact-form submissions and email threads: 24 months in the sales pipeline, unless you ask us to delete sooner.
- Cloudflare edge logs: per Cloudflare's schedule (typically < 30 days for raw HTTP logs).
- Pilot-engagement data (contracts, NDAs, project notes): for the duration of the engagement plus 6 years for tax / contract records, per Irish accounting law.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you're in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to our processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] with subject prefix DATA REQUEST. We respond within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (our supervisory authority) or your local DPA.
International transfers
Resend and Google Workspace are US-headquartered. Transfers from the EU/EEA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses where applicable. No data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, UK, or US.
Changes
We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we change material terms. Material changes go out to existing pilot customers by email as well.
